Ginisang Monggo
Mung beans cooked with pork belly strips, bitter gourd leaves
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams monggo (mung beans)
- 1/4 kg. pork belly, cut in to chunks
- 3 gloves garlic
- 1 big onion
- 2 medium tomatoes
- ampalaya leaves
- patis
- cooking oil
- 1.5 liters of water (use for pre-boiling the beans)
