Pork giniling is a popular Filipino dish made with ground pork, tomatoes, and a variety of vegetables. Here’s a simple recipe to cook pork giniling:
Ingredients:
- 500g ground pork
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 2 potato, diced
- 2 cups green beans
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Quick fry potatoes and carrots. Set aside.

Sauté the garlic, onions and fish sauce until fragrant and translucent. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.

Add the ground pork and cook until browned. Add green beans. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce.

Add the pre-fried carrot, potato. Stir well and cook for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cover the pan and let the pork giniling simmer for about 20-30 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked and the sauce thickens.
